JENNIFER’S DREAM DRESS

"Finding my perfect dress wasn’t nearly as daunting as I thought it would be. After getting engaged, I was gifted a few wedding magazines by my sister and sifted through them. One particular collection stood out to me for their clean lines and structured gowns. The Hampton gown by Amsale stood out above the rest. It was featured in every Amsale advertisement I saw during the summer of 2012. There was something about the simplicity and class of the gown that I loved. It very much emulated my style – clean lines, simple and classic. My mother and I went to an Amsale trunk show so I could try it on and a few short weeks later Pear Bridal House brought in the sample gown so my sister could give her yay or nay. She agreed it was “the one” and after two days and three bridal salons, I had found my dress. I loved the one shoulder as it is a look you don’t often see on brides.  The crumb catcher top and cinched waist worked well with my figure.  The open back provided a bit of sexy to an otherwise full coverage gown and the natural A-line hugged in the right areas. I felt great in the dress – I felt as if I wore the dress and not the other way around. The dress was “very Jenny” as my sister put it, so I knew it was the one.  In fact, a few months before the wedding my mom and my aunt were at a salon for a fitting of my mom’s dress.  They were sifting through wedding magazines and stopped on a page with all of Amsale’s gowns. My Mom must have made it known that my dress was by that designer, and my Aunt pointed to the Hampton, telling her that it was very much my style."
